Hajo ("we", "our", or "us") is owned, designed, and operated by AH&V Software Private Limited (CIN: U62099RJ2024PTC094983), having its registered office in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile applications (Android on Google Play Store, iOS on Apple App Store) and web platform collect, use, process, and safeguard your information. By using Hajo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Details: When you register via Email/Password or 1-Tap Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and optional phone number. For shop owners, we collect shop name, category, shop address, and business verification documents.
Location Data (Precise & Coarse): To display verified shops, calculate exact walking/driving distance, and filter local market offers around you.
User-Generated Content: Photos and videos (reels) uploaded by shop owners or citizens for products, storefronts, and reviews.
Device & Telemetry Data: Device model, OS version, crash logs, and FCM notification push tokens used strictly to deliver essential app notifications.

3. Device Permissions & Transparency

Hajo requests only the minimal device permissions necessary to provide our core hyperlocal discovery experience:

📍 Location (GPS)

Used exclusively while the app is active to show nearby shops within 500m–5km and calculate route distance. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.

📷 Camera & Photo Gallery

Requested only when a user or shop owner willingly chooses to take or upload a profile picture, product catalog photo, or video reel.

4. Zero Tracking & No Sale of Personal Data

✓ We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

Hajo does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for third-party advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Account Deletion & Data Erasure (Apple & Google Compliant)

Every user has the fundamental right to delete their Hajo account and all associated personal data at any time. We provide two easy methods:

Method 1 (In-App): Open Hajo App > Go to Profile / Settings > Select Privacy & Security > Tap Delete My Account.

Method 2 (Web Form):

If you uninstalled the app or prefer to request deletion online, use our dedicated Web Deletion Portal:

Upon deletion, your personal profile, credentials, saved shops, reviews, and uploaded content are permanently purged or anonymized from our production servers within 30 days, in compliance with applicable law.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement strict technical and organizational measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, TLS 1.3, encrypted database storage, and restricted role-based admin access to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
